Let us inform you all about the details regarding the formation of our congregation. This “Shree Sorathiya Prajapati Samaj Mandal” of western division is not new. The ward was known by its old name “Shahpur Ward” years ago. In this ward, there were Nava Vadaj, Ghatlodia, Nirnay Nagar, Shahpur, Maninagar, Vastrapur, Sola Road, Vejalpur, Paldi and Vasana areas. At that time, the hardworking workers of this area like late With the efforts of Madhavjibhai Visawadia, Shri Nathabhai Ghedia, Shri Ramjibhai Chavda and Shri Premjibhai Chitroda and many other youths, Snehmelan was organized every year. Gradually this activity declined and with it the identity of the society of this area came to a dormant state.
Over time, the young and enthusiastic leaders of this area felt that why not awaken our society again? A large number of families (about 110) are settled in this area and it continues to increase. After implementing this idea, in a very short time, this congregation was formed with the indomitable enthusiasm of all the brothers. Society’s first love meeting on Held on 05-12-2004, in which all the caste brothers enthusiastically participated and expressed their feelings that the activities of the society in this area are necessary.
Let’s look at the activities of this society till date. First a “Contact Directory” was issued which contained the telephone details of all the brothers in the area. We are happy to say that this booklet is widely used by many brothers in this area and outside on good and bad occasions. Along with this, we also present the family introduction booklet of this area to the society. This booklet details the professional and family information of the families of this area. The diligent brothers of the area have taken great pains to bring out this booklet, and have contributed well to get advertisements to foot the financial aspect.
Our Trust is registered under the Mumbai Public Trusts Act with Reg.No.A/3778/Ahmedabad.
The enthusiastic brothers and sisters of the society have expressed the feeling that our area has a unique identity. As maximum facilities are available in our area for education and medical treatment, brothers and sisters of the society also come to our area from outside. Hence we in this area
